I've been marveling at the natural beauty of flowers and plants lately. Even the strange ones have a unique appeal that captures my attention and admiration. Kind of like those dogs that are so ugly they become cute after you stare at them for a while (or people, for that matter).
The calla lily is one of those effortless beauties that is elegant, yet simple. My favorite varieties are the crisp, clean white or vibrant yellow-orange. It's a perfect addition to any bridal bouquet, and a simple arrangement in a crystal vase can dress up any room. That's why it's our DWL flower of the day!
